It's been a few months, and we're nearly ready to announce the identity of our third playable character race. Here's a quick teaser, we're going to give more of the game away soon!

December the 3rd, 2008

We've been busy working on our great big social network game for the past weeks and we're going to launch the Beta in the next couple of days. Everybody from the Twin Skies community is welcome to play it and send us feedback.
It's a Tower Defence game where you have to protect your village from waves of angry Twin Skies creatures. Click here to learn more!
Also, we've added some more Buddy Icons and a Desktop Background using art from Twin Skies Tower Defence!
December the 3rd, 2008
To start off we have some more Screenshots. Our character models are acting a bit weird right now so these three are all environmental.
The latest Fan Art competition has been uploaded. Featuring our first (and hopefully not the last) Blu-Tac entry!
Lastly, the latest Caption Contest is up. Wow the towers in our 3D game match the ones in Tower Defence... it's as if we planned it :P
November the 21st, 2008
We're back with some more updates to Twin Skies! Sorry it's been a while, lots more to come in the next week.
Firstly, we have a new Caption Contest featuring... crabs.
Our latest race of NPCs has been added to the site. While technically humans, the Wilyhoof Nomads of the Wandering Plains are so different we gave them their own section.
Lastly, the latest Fan Art competition has been judged, congratulations to all the lucky winners.
November the 9th, 2008
Some of you have been asking to see more of Petiole and the Elevere Forest, the starting zone for Canopy Elves, so we've just added some of our latest Concept Art!

We also got some fantastic entries to this week's Fan Art competition, thanks for the entries, keep them coming in!
Lastly, we have two more Screenshots. Check them out to see how our 3D game is progressing!
November the 6th, 2008
We've fixed most of the bugs, added more levels and Runebreaker is good to go. You can now earn meteorites from sending your score. We'll be adding an achievement soon!
The next Caption Competition has gone live. Congratulations to all the winners of the last competition, see if you can think of anything funny for this week's screenshot.
Also we have exclusive footage of Free Gruel Day at Meteor Games - in our latest blog!

Hope you have a great Hallowe'en and don't eat too many sweets! We haven't really got a huge amount to show you unfortunately because we don't have a game yet. We have tried to put together some fun content though. Next year there will be a lot more we promise :)
First off we've added the Wraith to our Bestiary. You can count on this malevolent spirit to put a grisly end to your adventuring career.
The latest Fan Art competition winners have been added to the site. A slot machine ... that you can eat ... *drools*
We have some Spooky Screenshots for you to see. Actually, they're not that spooky at all, but you will get a first glance at the Elevere Forest!
October the 31st, 2008

Here's a sneak preview of our latest flash game - Runebreaker. It's set in various Avian ruins around the world of Twin Skies. We haven't even told you about the Avians yet, but they're awesome, they can fly, and apparently they don't take good care of their cities.
We still have a tonne of bugs to fix and features to add - so please send in your feedback and we'll be updating the game next week.
October the 29th, 2008
We've made a few changes to achievements today. The dreaded Scarlet Fever achievement will be given out for just one win by the Scarlet Mallard, not five. She has to win soon, right? Also another one of our achievements, "Grey Day" wasn't working. We've fixed it - so get refining!
October the 25th, 2008
We've added five new achievements to Twin Skies. The first two are the rewards for the Writing and Caption competitions. Good luck guessing the other three :)

October the 23rd, 2008
We've judged the winners of the first Caption Competition and we've just launched the second one. Congratulations to the winners and keep those submissions coming in!
We've also expanded the size of your Writing Submissions to 3,000 words from 1,000. Hope that helps! The new winners have also been announced.
We've chosen nine winners to our Fan Art Contest this week because we had so many entries!
October the 22nd, 2008
Sorry about the lack of updates recently - as we mentioned on the forums we're working on a really big game for Facebook that incorporates lots of Twin Skies characters. We'll give you more details very soon!
Two more Screenshots have been added. We have a rather picturesque view of Shoal from a nearby hill... and you can also see our first underground area!
We've added a new mode to Sap Refinery - Chain Mode. It's a lot harder than the other ones!
There are two more pieces of Concept Art too! We can show you the interior of a human inn, and one other idea that didn't make the grade.
October the 16th, 2008

Ahhhh...oooooooh! No modern-day online fantasy game is complete without the trusty Wolf. You'll find hungry wolves looking for prey (namely, you) in many of the zones of Twin Skies. Learn more about them in our Bestiary!
You can also Wolferise your desktop background!
October the 16th, 2008
We've added two more Screenshots, this time from the area around Shoal.
The Troll just got a facelift! Sorry if you liked the old one, we thought it was a bit too cute to be one of our bad guys. The good news is that the Beard Bird is still there :)
A load more Buddy Icons have just been uploaded. They feature some of the latest characters and creatures we've added to the site, including Gorselings, Scragglepaws and Floramancers.
We've changed a lot of our media pages so that images that open in new windows are now displayed in light-boxes... because, you know, that's how web sites do things these days. A good example of this can be found on our Fan Art page.
Finally, we've added four more pieces of Concept Art. You can see the original concepts for the Gorseling and Wolf along with some more buildings.
October the 14th, 2008
We've just launched our Caption Competition. Every week we'll upload a new screenshot from Twin Skies - you'll be able to arrange speech bubbles to try and come up with something funny.
The best entries each week will be put on display, and you'll also earn an Achievement and some Meteorites for your trouble.
October the 14th, 2008
We've judged our first Writing Competition. Thanks to everybody for entering - and be sure to read the winning entries. We'll have an achievement for this competition very soon, watch this space.
Also, the latest winners of our Fan Art competition now have their work on display. If you weren't hungry before, you certainly will be now!
We've uploaded a new version of Sap Refinery with a soundtrack! This theme can also be found on our Music Downloads page.
Lastly... we invite you to feast your ears upon our newest [Epic Song]...
 Lone Scragglepaw
October the 14th, 2008

Spitting is incredibly rude, especially when you're spitting fire, electricity or acid at somebody. The Sap Beetle likes to feed on the magical sap of the Elevere Forest, and unfortunately for the Canopy Elves, also likes to use sap to defend itself.
Learn more about the Sap Beetle in our
Bestiary.
Show off your Achievements!
October the 10th, 2008
If you've noticed all your achievements vanishing from the left navigation bar, don't fret. We've added a new feature where you can select which achievements to display there.
This may not seem important right now, but when the new forums are completed these will be the achievements that also show next to your character portrait when you post. Also, we thought the old icons were a bit small so we've doubled their size!
October the 10th, 2008
We've uploaded a new version of Sap Refinery in which you can earn Meteorites! We've also balanced it a lot more, fixed a few bugs and added some animations.

In other news, we've added back all the flavour text that was missing, and also fixed all the old news articles. Lots more stuff coming next week (including more achievements.) Have a good weekend everybody!
October the 8th, 2008
We've added more pieces of Concept Art. These pieces are from areas that we've been working on recently such as the Nomad Camp in the Wandering Plains.
In other news we've added a new mode to Sap Refinery. You can play in 'Boring Mode' for as long as you want!
Lastly, sorry about the downtime yesterday. We had to switch over to a new set of IP addresses, giving us more room to expand. Some people may have issues getting to the site today due to a DNS problem, we only expect this to continue for a couple of hours.
October the 7th, 2008
You thought Blackjack was hard enough - try playing against a psychic! We're proud to announce our newest game... Psijack.

Psijack is set in the Caprina Monastery, far west of Shoal. It's a standard game of 21, but with a twist. Your psi-power meter will build up over time, this represents the percentage chance you have of guessing what card the dealer has face down. Good luck!
October the 7th, 2008
Deep within the Elevere Forest is a broken branch, a place where magical sap of many different colours bubbles to the surface. It's also the home to our newest game - Sap Refinery. It's just in testing mode right now so you can't earn Meteorites.

We'll be adding the Sap Floe to our Atlas within the next few weeks. It's not a very nice place though - there aren't many other places in the forest where you can get frozen, burned and electrocuted at the same time!
In other news we've shelved Impit Attack for the time being. The game wasn't fun enough so we're going to create another game with the same assets and animations. Sorry about that!
October the 3rd, 2008
We haven't really shown you any of our player character animations in detail yet. In light of this we've decided to add a new Featured Article where you can see a couple of the human female emotes.
We'll be adding more soon, we only had time to do a few!
October the 3rd, 2008
One of the more aggressive pets that a Floramancer can grow is the Flower Hound.

Don't worry, it's not just the Floramancer who gets all the cool pets. We'll be featuring some Warden pets early next week.
October the 3rd, 2008
Sorry we haven't been updating the site for the past few days. Everything will be back to normal early next week :)
First off, we have some new Screenshots for you to look at, one features of the more famous residents of the Meteor Games office...
We have a new Blog in which you can see how awesome the Meteor Games office really is (and you can totally check out our EXTREME microwave!)
Congratulations to all the winners of our latest Fan Art competition! We'll be judging the Creative Writing competition next week for all those people who have entered.
Two more images have been added to our Meteor Cam Archive.
