So you're under development?Back To Top Yes, we haven't even entered Alpha yet, we hope to in late 2008. Since we're not strictly a traditional MMO we've decided to let people onto the website early to see what we're up to. You can play flash games, download desktop backgrounds and music, and lots more.

Well, when does it get good?Back To Top Keep your shirt on, let me continue. Our MMO is set in the world of Twin Skies, two planets locked together in a close orbit. The planet you'll start out on is home to many interesting and exciting characters. It's not without its problems, but the real threat lies in the skies above. The twin planet of Stormia has begun to crack apart, and since that time your world has been visited by a number of uninvited guests.

Sounds boring!Back To Top What if we said the uninvited guests were giant electric fish meteors with mind control powers?

Does the game have good graphics?Back To Top Yes. Very good. In developing the game we decided against 2D web graphics, jumped right past Flash, made a rather rude face at Java and ended up with fully 3D DirectX 9 graphics. We have a Screenshots page that's always under construction. We hope to make the world of Twin Skies look better every single week!

Will it run on my computer?Back To Top The engine that we're using is extremely scalable and will support much older computers. It's just a matter of turning off the shiny, glowy bits.

I have a Mac.Back To Top Nice. Our game is unfortunately PC-only but we have been informed that it may work in emulation mode. Don't fear, we have a number of Mac users in the office and we're trying hard to figure out how to make it work!

Is this a killing game?Back To Top It's a fact of life that most MMOs are just about killing the same monsters repeatedly. Twin Skies is thankfully quite different. Although you will need to become more powerful to adventure to distant lands and defeat nasty monsters, there will be many other ways to pass the time. Lots of trade skills, lots of social interaction, and lots of mini games! Did we mention hairstyles? Lots of hairstyles too.

What races and classes do you offer?Back To Top The first race that we're releasing are the Humans. Hailing from a distant galaxy, these odd-looking creatures only have two hands and just the one head, but we think you'll get used to their freakish looks given time. Canopy Elves are the second race, they're the one with the pointy ears. We'll probably announce our third race sometime in 2008... probably.

*ahem* .. Classes?Back To Top Each race will have access to a handful of unique classes. The humans, for instance, can select from five different classes including Soldier, Witch and Priest. The Canopy Elf has four available classes, the first of which are the Floramancer and Scout. You may be familiar with similar play-styles from other MMOs but our classes will have plenty of surprises up their sleeves.

Can I create a website account?Back To Top Yes, please Signup and create a free account. We're adding new content, games, and activities all the time. Even though our game isn't launched there will still be plenty to do.

How do the flash games work?Back To Top If you create an account and a character, you'll be able to play the flash games to earn Meteorites (our website currency). If you get really good scores you'll also be able to unlock achievements. You'll be able to spend Meteorites on customising your character and your free in-game house.

Our games will eventually communicate with the MMO itself! Playing a game could change the weather in a certain zone, spawn a monster, or unlock a chest full of lewts. You'll notice that each game is themed to a specific zone, monster, NPC or situation within our game. If you don't see any information about a specific creature or character in our Game Guide, chances are it's coming soon.

When is the MMO itself going to be ready?Back To Top We're going to be at Penny Arcade Expo in August of this year. At PAX we'll let people get limited places on our Beta test, and more importantly give away cute plush toys. We also hope to announce a more accurate release date for the game, but right now all we can say that it's going to be some time in 2009.

Will it cost money?Back To Top We'd rather your experience with our website and game wasn't distracted by ads, so we're aiming to charge a subscription in order to play the game. This may change though, nothing has been finalised yet.
