"The stranger healed our wounds, and provided enough food for a week, but the only words he ever spoke were simply 'Jerboa thanks you.'" - Alkus, Underflow Scout

Most adventurers in the world of Twin Skies find their strength in the natural magic of the planet itself or within themselves. Priests, on the other hand, are unique in that they draw their power exclusively from the giant meteors that have broken off from Stormia above.

Priests tend to draw their powers from one meteor in particular, such as the buffalump, fish or wolf. This means that even within the class there is a great difference in abilities and functions. Some priests will channel their favoured meteor to heal wounds, while others may call upon their spider meteor to web and poison their foes.

Despite their differences, all priests strive to make their world a better place to live. Apart from the spider ones. They're really nasty.

Priest Abilities
Here are some of the various spells and prayers available to a Priest.
Bee Sting - Unlike bees, the Priest will not die after he stings an opponent.
Buffalump's Endurance - Gain the stamina and strength of a Buffalump without the awful smell.
Meteor Strike - Calls fiery boulders of death from the sky!
Undo Wounds - Call on the power of your Meteor to heal your allies.

Notable NPCs

Here are some famous Priests that you may meet on your travels.

Nolan Fletcher - When the meteors came down, a town in the Wandering Plains was destroyed by an earthquake. The people who perished in that disaster still linger at the site of the ruins, trapped as ghosts. Nolan is a young and talented priest who's determined to free these spirits and let them know rest.
A Priestly Tale
"Each day I arise with renewed vigour. The needy are so great in number. Perhaps through charity, they will give of themselves to help those less fortunate than they, and so forth until all the good people of the world are able to embrace each other as brothers. A lofty goal perhaps, but one that I work towards nonetheless.

One day, though, I encountered a group of bandits who were not feeling quite as altruistic. They insisted on taking the charity money I had raised for victims of sparkfish attacks, so I had to take action. I called forth a servant of Calagat'cha from the waters and he made short work of the brutes. I offered to heal the wounds they had suffered, but they preferred to run away screaming instead." - Sister Dannia
