'The classroom was filled to the brim with Elven children sporting cuts, scrapes, and tiny bite marks. Oh, how I hate the first day of snapping daisy season.'

Floramancy, for all its benefits, has had its fair share of blunders and errors. Snapping daisies were one of them. Created to be a sort of sentry for gardens from animals that would happily munch on a tulip bulb or prize rose bush, Snapping Daisies were touted as the guard plant that bites back.

Floramancers have learned to plant, cultivate, and grow them into faithful
(and malicious) pets. Some snapping daisies, however, escape into the wild, losing contact with their former floramancer masters. These daisies can be territorial and very ferocious, and are best avoided.

Daisies in Combat

Snapping daisies are minor nuisances. Explorers don't know they've wandered into a patch until they are suddenly being gnawed on by a persistent and angry flower. Snapping Daisies will lie in wait and then ambush the unlucky offender with a ferocity rarely displayed by regular plants.

Fortunately, the Snapping Daisy is only moderately more intelligent than a regular plant which means your average adventurer should have little trouble defeating one if necessary.
