Eleplants are magical plant creatures that are summoned by the Floramancers of Elevere forest. They are a strong, helpful companion who is always ready to shoulder a heavy load, or lead the charge into a pack of enemies. Eleplants are one of the more powerful plant creatures the floramancer has in her arsenal, however it's safe to assume that choosing an eleplant removes all element of surprise from your attack.

An Eleplant is always accompanied by a Pipsqueek, their tiny, timid leaf-mouse companion. It is the Pipsqueek, not the Floramancer who provides the Eleplant's orders, being the figurative brains of the duo. The two will frequently converse in a strange plant language and even get into disagreements at inopportune moments on the best way to proceed.

My First Summon

It was only my third week of floramancer training and it was already time to learn plant summoning. The teacher gave us our first seed and we all spent the better part of the day growing our pet. All of my friends got flower hounds. Mine was an Eleplant. It was big and slow and made strange noises and knocked over the teacher's pedestal. Everyone laughed. I was so upset that I ran from the training grounds and into the Wild. I just wanted to be alone, but that Eleplant followed me, crushing flowers and generally being a nuisance. I started yelling at the Eleplant for not being what I wanted and was so upset I didn't even notice that I was surrounded by half a dozen gorselings.

The creatures all pounced at once and the eleplant leapt into action. Immediately, it crushed the first one under its massive leafy feet and tripped another with its trunk. As for me? I was defenseless and could only watch as the eleplant took out each gorseling before they could even touch me. A dozen more appeared and I knew it was time to run. I looked behind me and saw the brave eleplant explode into a leaf storm distraction, stunning the gorselings long enough for me to make my escape. When I got back to the training grounds, I walked right up to the teacher and asked for another eleplant seed.
